Overview
OCVIBE is a $4B sports and entertainment district in Anaheim anchored by the Honda Center. This video defines the brand’s motion identity, showcasing the application of typography, color, and iconography across digital and environmental platforms.
ROLE
I owned the project’s creative vision, providing the art direction, narrative development, and storyboarding through to the final edit. I refined the core identity, managed freelance support, and executed the motion design to showcase the brand’s energy and scale.
BRAND VIDEO
STYLE FRAMES
My design approach centers on the "Epicenter" concept, using symmetry and ripples to visualize the scale of the district. These movements represent the vibrancy of Anaheim and the brand’s focus on entertainment and community. The OCV letterforms are used as dynamic motifs: appearing as textures, masks, and 3D objects to create a flexible visual language that scales across any medium.
