Overview
A visual overhaul concept of Pitchfork’s media identity, focused on capturing their "anti-mainstream" spirit through bold typography, vibrant colors, and dynamic motion.
Role
Brand strategy and visual identity. I designed the system and applied it across mobile, web, and social with UI layouts and motion graphics.


Logo & Color
I gave the Pitchfork logo a fresh spin by taking inspiration from a vintage record, while the taper of the “P” nods to the actual end of a pichfork. For the palette, I liked the idea of primary colors to represent the wide range of music and diverse community of music lovers.
